Astrid has tutored our son in Latin during his freshman and sophomore years in high school. She has been patient, approachable, dedicated, and a good mentor for our son – helping to make a challenging language a little easier for him. I appreciate her flexibility and reliability when it comes to scheduling our weekly tutoring sessions and any additional ones as test time comes closer! We look forward to working with Astrid for Latin 3!

We want our daughter to study Latin because we believe it would strengthen her English language and reading skills. When a friend recommended Astrid, we were excited for the opportunity. From the very first lesson, our daughter connected with Astrid’s teaching style and enthusiasm.

One aspect our daughter especially enjoys is learning about daily life in Pompeii through storytelling. This approach makes the material engaging, memorable, and enjoyable. Astrid is incredibly patient and explains concepts clearly, which has helped build our daughter’s confidence and interest in the subject.

As a result, our daughter genuinely looks forward to every lesson with Astrid, and we have been very pleased with her progress and experience.

Astrid is really nice and if I forget any words, all she does is let me make a flash card instead of getting really mad. She teaches Latin very well.
