However, it's easiest when working with a teacher one on one. I design my lessons to match the learning style and goals of my students. I accept students from ages 9 to 99, anywhere in the world.

• If you want to expand your English vocabulary and improve your reading comprehension, Latin will help you immensely. My middle school students report higher grades and test scores in English and the humanities after beginning Latin.
• If you're going to take a Latin class in school, it's good to get a head start. Many complicated grammatical concepts can be harder to learn in a group setting — learning them in advance can help your grades start high and stay high.
• If you're a student of history, literature, art, or philosophy, Latin can enrich your studies and improve your understanding of the ancient world.

How to get started

1. Send me an email! I love hearing from new students. Just tell me who the student is (you or your child if you're a parent) and why they want to learn Latin.
2. We'll meet on Zoom for an initial consultation. I'll ask you about your educational history and learning style, then we'll talk about your Latin goals and what you want to achieve during our lessons.
3. Based on your answers, I'll suggest a textbook and design a curriculum tailored just for you.
